I'm John Xenos, a wedding photographer based in Athens. I photograph weddings across Greece — the city, the coast and the islands.
I don't want your wedding to stop so I can photograph it. I stay close, I watch, and I wait for the moments nobody planned. When a little direction helps — a portrait in the right light, a few minutes away from your guests — I give it, then I step back.
Before the wedding we meet for a pre-wedding session. It's part of how I photograph every wedding, and I'll always propose it: an easy afternoon somewhere you like, so that on the day I'm not a stranger with a camera.
I take a small number of weddings each year. I'm the person you talk to, the person who photographs your day, and the person who edits every photograph.
Outside of weddings, my life is here in Athens — my two daughters, long dinners with friends, the city when it slows down in summer.
